We are looking for a resourceful and experienced marketing leader to drive Manticore’s Web3 and Blockchain marketing. The role is part marketing, growth hacking, community, PR and business development. Using your deep understanding of the latest crypto and Web3 landscape and trends you will lead and execute strategies and campaigns to bring crypto communities and players to the Core Metaverse and drive adoption of our crypto services. You will help establish Manticore’s corporate and product positioning in crypto. You’ll build a better understanding of our target audiences to develop targeting, positioning and messaging, and manage promotional events. You will take an active part in all branding, market research, PR, social, community, and influencer marketing activities. You will collaborate closely with business development to pitch and develop campaigns for crypto and Web3 partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead strategy and campaigns to drive traffic, adoption and conversion of Core Metaverse’s crypto features
  • Target, aggregate and collaborate with crypto communities and projects
  • Be an expert on the crypto market, latest trends, and competition to identify opportunities for the growth of the Core Metaverse 
  • Own the crypto marketing strategies and drive their introduction and growth through blockchain/cryptocurrency-specific channels (events, niche social platforms, influencer partnerships, etc.)
  • Create and direct market, competitive, and user research 
  • Identify target audiences and develop, execute, and optimize Core’s user acquisition strategy across all channels, with a focus on PC and mobile as well any other future platforms
  • Measure the effectiveness of brand, influencers and consumer marketing initiatives and develop insights to optimize campaigns, make recommendations, and track against KPIs
  • Partner with Product to collect user insights and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to the platform
  • Convert compelling product features into communication programs to drive community engagement
  • Assist in development and execution of product positioning and Core branding strategies for web3
  • Oversee consumer events, influencer marketing, and social media marketing
  • Manage Core’s retention, engagement, and reengagement campaigns
  • Create new marketing content (videos, blogs, etc.) to support acquisition and retention activities
  • Propose and deploy the overall blockchain marketing budget
  • Work closely with Developer Relations, Product Management, PR, Community Management, and Finance teams

Requirements

  • An industry operator and advocate with a passion for gaming, the blockchain space and knowledge of cryptocurrencies
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in gaming, technology, consulting, marketing and/or strategy roles
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience in crypto and blockchain, including the launch of NFTs and token-based systems
  • Full-stack marketing and GTM skills with the ability to balance tried and true tactics with out of the box thinking
  • Enthusiasm to be hands on and own both strategy and execution 
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multichannel marketing campaigns, with emphasis on user acquisition and performance marketing efforts
  • Experience with niche social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, video production
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing customer data to craft effective messaging
  • Experience in developing the creation of high-quality marketing materials (trailers, art assets, websites, etc), including managing team members and vendors
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, a related field, or equivalent experience
