The Bankless newsletter is read by over 180k crypto natives. The Bankless podcast gets downloaded over 2 million times per month. We plan to onboard 1 billion people to crypto over the next decade through media, education, and culture.
Bankless is going west… and building a new website (gasp) and we need a UI/UX designer to come along side our team and build the most user-friendly site imaginable. The new Bankless Website will unify our newsletter, podcasts, and apparel and get us ready for a slew of web3 features for Bankless Members — and we need to make sure people can navigate the site seamlessly.
The ideal candidate is a UX/UI with a splash of crypto degen. They have a proven track record of developing websites that bridge web2 and web3. Dis you?
Responsibilities
- Ideating, conceptualizing, crafting, designing, building, and testing experiences to create engaging moments for our users online
- Working on new forms of interaction through the use of NFTs and web3 technology
- Execute A/B testing on landing pages and web forms
- Understanding and adapting online properties to optimize user flow and thinking strategically and empathetically about the user flow and experience
- Designing layouts, page elements, landing pages, forms, etc.
- Working in collaboration with our web development team, product team and creative team
- Turn mockups into reusable components within a Figma design system
- Demonstrate proficiency communicating throughout the design process from formulating high-level strategy to executing pixel-perfect mockup
Ideal candidate:
- Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices
- Experience with Ghost CMS (or similar)
- Crypto comfy; you know this space and the ever evolving web2 meets web3 world
- Has deep experience with Figma and/or wire framing in general
- Can show Proof of Work (what have you built? Let’s see it!)
