As the Lead Designer, you will be pushing forward all aspects of design for one of the most forward-thinking and decentralization-minded DeFi protocols. This is an opportunity to build the product from scratch and utilize your creativity.

Brand design experience is an extra skill that is highly desired. If you can do both product and brand design, you are a perfect match. If you know product design and want to work on brand design as well, this role will provide this opportunity.

What you'll be building

  • Creating beautiful, high-fidelity UI mockups and interfaces
  • Designing well-crafted and communicative content such as icons, diagrams, and illustrations
  • Defining UI patterns and improving our design systems
  • Prototyping end-to-end, high fidelity UI designs to visual product experiences
  • Working on brand design and strategy from scratch with the leadership team to create one of the best-known, well-respected brands in crypto

Requirements
  • An online portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and impeccable craft across a variety of projects
  • Expertise with web prototyping tools such as Sketch and Figma
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining design systems and components
  • Strong illustration skills. Have the ability to visualize and bring early-stage ideas to life
  • Compassionate and confident when giving feedback to others on the team. Humble when receiving feedback
  • A strong work ethic + ability to take ownership and proof-check your work with high accuracy. Know how to balance perfectionism with agile deliverables
  • Emotional intelligence to think through design problems with partners and arrive at thoughtful solutions
