We are looking for someone to join our in-house engineering team to research and experiment with protocol design, help with technical due diligence, and work on projects in all corners of the blockchain ecosystem. The engineering team at Blockchain Capital works closely with the rest of the research and investment team by digging deeply into the technical nuances of potential investments and collaborating with teams in our portfolio. Also, the team operates as an incubation arm within the Blockchain Capital umbrella where we are encouraged to experiment on the bleeding edge of blockchain technologies.

What we are looking for:

• Background in software development/engineering
• Enthusiasm to learn and try out new things in the crypto technology space
• Experience writing smart contracts and thinking through the design of protocols
• Passion for building and experimenting
• Interest in becoming a founder in crypto and/or a technically-focused investor

What you will be working on:

• Working with portfolio companies to design and build applications and proof of concepts on top of, or which are complementary to, their products
• Building experimental projects at the bleeding edge of crypto
• Helping with technical due diligence of potential investments
• Maintaining infrastructure for networks/companies in the portfolio including staking nodes and keeper bots
