Valist is bringing the world’s software from Web2 to Web3. Right now, the vast majority of Web3 software is still being distributed over Web2 platforms like GitHub, Steam, and centralized cloud providers. Valist is a web3-native software distribution platform that enables developers and DAOs to publish their software, fairly monetize their games/apps, and much more.

We’re hiring our Director of Developer Relations to help us expand our outreach, community, and brand awareness. In this role, you will have a strong influence on our growth strategies, forge and develop great relationships with our community members and key partners, and create high quality content. You will be working closely with technical co-founders and brilliant engineers.

• A strategist that can collect, digest, interpret user feedback, and recommend potential action items
• Someone who can convert code to examples
• Highly skilled technical writer that can convey complex ideas in simple language
• Someone that loves to hang out at crypto events for fun
• A meme lover / cryptotwitter connoisseur

What you’ll be working on:

• Community outreach and growth
• Expanding partnerships and key relationships
• A Valist-powered game launcher “Project Sapphire” (think Steam, for Web3)
• Create growth strategies and test assumptions based on data
• Articulating the mission and technical concepts to both developer and non-dev audiences
• Networking at conferences and events (travel 3-6 times a year)
• Content creation (blogs/articles, social media, presentations, etc.)
• Helping establish our brand and vibe
• Occasional grant/proposal editing
