We need a Web Developer.
We’ve outgrown our web stack and need to rebuild on a new foundation. The new Bankless Website will unify our newsletter, podcasts, and apparel and get us ready for a slew of web3 features for Bankless Members.
The ideal candidate is a web dev-nerd with a splash of crypto degen. We need a high operator to join our team and show us the light (that is a new website). They have a proven track record of developing websites that bridge web2 and web3. That you?
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute transition from Substack to Ghost site and work with internal and external teams on implementation of the new site
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Writing frontend and backend code
- Build frontend applications with solid design
- Integrate web3 wallet logins as needed
- Create security and data protection settings
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Create security and data protection settings
- Write technical documentation and the ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design
Ideal candidate:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer
- Development experience with highly used desktop and mobile webs apps
- Skills in front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React)
- Skills in back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, Node.js) and frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
- Skills in web database development (e.g. MySQL, PostGres), web servers (e.g. NGINX) and UI/UX design
- Experience with Ghost CMS (or similar)
- Crypto comfy; you know this space and the ever evolving web2 meets web3 world
- Can show Proof of Work (what have you built? Let’s see it!)
- Has familiarity building Web3 login gated sites
